1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how JustAPI (“JustAPI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit justapi.ai, use the JustAPI console, or send requests through our API services. It does not replace the terms of an upstream model provider when that provider processes a request on your behalf.

2. Information we collect

We may collect:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, organization, authentication records, and account preferences.
• Billing and transaction records. Payment card details are processed by our payment providers and are not stored in full by JustAPI.
• API usage information, including model, route, token counts, request time, latency, status, cost, project, and API key identifier.
• Technical information, including IP address, device and browser information, logs, cookies, and security events.
• Support communications and any information you choose to provide to us.
• Prompt and response content only to the extent required by the selected route, your account settings, abuse prevention obligations, or an incident investigation.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, route and account for API requests, process payments, provide support, improve reliability, prevent abuse, comply with law, and communicate material service changes.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use customer prompts or model responses to train our own general-purpose models.

4. AI providers and subprocessors

API requests are sent to the model provider or infrastructure route selected for the request. Each route may have different processing locations, retention terms, and provider policies. Available route-level information should be reviewed before production use.

We may also use infrastructure, analytics, communications, support, and payment vendors that process information under contractual obligations.

5. Retention

Account, billing, security, and usage records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, meet legal obligations, and protect the service. Prompt and response retention depends on the selected route and account settings. A route described as zero-retention is handled according to the applicable route terms.

6. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure. You are responsible for safeguarding API keys, limiting their scope, rotating compromised credentials, and avoiding unnecessary sensitive data in prompts.

7. International processing

JustAPI and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also manage cookies through your browser and revoke API keys through the console.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Additional age restrictions may apply under local law.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required.
